Local Hotspots
The Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team has a number of known “Hot Spots” in our area, where the team regularly has to attend incidents. The aim of this page is to raise awareness of those areas where the team spends most of it’s time.
Please remember that the Team’s website exists to highlight the role of mountain rescue and the risks on the hills, as such, it aims to help people, like yourself and your friends, enjoy the outdoors safely. If you have ever got into difficulty in a particular area but managed to get yourself to safety under your own steam then we would be pleased to hear about it.
