Search – Allerston – 8th January, 17:18 (03/2022)
Request from North Yorkshire Police to deploy to assist in the search for a vulnerable female missing from home whose car had been found parked at Allerston. We were asked to search the forest tracks leading from Allerston into Dalby Forest. After some six and a half hours searching on foot and in vehicles with no result the team were stood down on the understanding that if needed we would deploy after first light to continue the search. We had twenty two team members deployed.
