Search – Allerston/Givendale – 6th December, 09:26 (120/2021)
In support of North Yorkshire Police and a continuation of the search from the 5th. With assistance from Cleveland MRT, RAF Leeming MRT and dogs from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England the overnight search was resumed and extended into Dalby Forest. The young lady was subsequently found walking along a forest track by one of the dog handlers from Swaledale MRT while driving to the start of his search area. The young lady was recovered by one of our team vehicles to the search control to be reunited with her family and to receive appropriate care. We had twelve team members deployed for seven hours supported by around twenty three team members and two dogs from the other teams.
