Rescue – Hovingham – 22 October, 13:31 (103/2021)
Request for assistance by Yorkshire Ambulance Service for the rescue and evacuation of a 69 year old gentleman who had sustained a leg injury having ‘slipped in the woods and fallen down a steep slippery hill’. Medical care was being provided by the ambulance crew on site and after pain relief provided by the team the gentleman was lifted onto a team stretcher and carried to the waiting ambulance for transportation to definitive medical care.
