Rescue – Robin Hoods Bay – 14th August 14:16 (74/2021)
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a lady who had sustained multiple injuries after falling over the handlebars of a bike on the cinder track south of Robin Hoods Bay. After treating for facial, elbow and knee injuries we carried her along the cinder track before handing over to an ambulance crew. Fifteen team members deployed for three and a half hours.
What an absolutely amazing team you all are,it doesn’t bare thinking about how I would have got to the ambulances with out your team. 21 months later and I am still recovering from my injuries and awaiting another operation but I am slowly getting there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all
