Rescue – Dalby Forest – 22nd July 14:12 (60/2021)
Alerted by Cleveland MRT to an incident with an injured mountain biker in Dalby Forest which had been incorrectly allocated to them. We contacted the caller to establish their location and nature of injury then deployed two team members and a team vehicle to support the Forest Ranger who was already on scene. The patient has sustained a significant laceration to her knee, after the wound had been dressed her and her riding partner were transported to the visitor centre and the waiting ambulance crew. We had five team members directly involved with a further seven on standby for two hours.
