Rescue – Driffield – 19th January 15:28 – 03/2023
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to reports of a 73 year old female who had fallen on ice on a path in woodland close to Driffield Beck sustaining an ankle injury. YAS has a crew on scene quickly who requested our help with the provision of a ‘casbag’ (think thick fleecy sleeping bag) and heat packs along with team members and a stretcher to carry her back to the waiting ambulance at the roadside. We had twelve team members deployed for two and a half hours.
