Rescue – Buttercrambe – 26th November, 12:24 – 74/2022
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a fallen horse rider who had sustained head injuries on arable land East of Buttercrambe. While deploying we were called again by the Ambulance Service to a second incident, this time in Dalby Forest. This resulted in two team vehicles deploying to the south or our patch while a third vehicle deployed to Dalby Forest.
The patient was assessed on scene and evacuated to the roadside by team members after which his wife drove him to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
We had fourteen team members deployed across both incidents for two and a half hours.
