Search – Sleights – 28th September, 17:25 – 64/2022
Called by North Yorkshire Police to reports of a vulnerable male aged 48 who had not been seen since 12.30pm earlier in the day and the police were becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
He was last seen near woods close to Aislaby.
The gentleman was described as white, 6ft tall, of large build with grey hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a black zip up cardigan, blue jeans and brown shoes.
Working with North Yorkshire Police, HMCG, HMCG Helicopter and Humberside Fire and Rescue K9 section, the team were tasked to search woodland running south from Aislaby to the bridge across the River Esk at Sleights. We were also subsequently tasked to search locations known to the gentleman North and West of Aislaby.
After clearing all the required area without result the team were stood down by the police at 22:13, we had twenty three team members deployed for six hours.
