Search – Brandsby – 28th July, 12:24 – 46/2022
Within 10 minutes of being deployed in support of Yorkshire Ambulance Service at Goathland (45/2022) we received an unrelated call to assist North Yorkshire Police in the search for a vulnerable female reported missing from home in Brandsby.
Once we confirmed the patient in Goathland was safely in the care of an Ambulance Service responder we were able to divert team members and vehicles across our patch from Goathland to Brandsby. This drive was further complicated by a diversion to avoid a road closure following an RTC on the Pickering – Malton road close to Low Marishes. Other team members also collected our control vehicle and second Land Rover to augment those assets already deployed.
Thankfully the lady was quickly found, safe and well, by a Police search team and we were able to stand down from scene.
Thirteen team members deployed for one hour thirty minutes.
