Rescue – Wilton Heights – 16th July, 12:17 – 39/2022
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a 48 year old female who had called the ambulance service to say she had fallen from her bike on a track adjacent to Dalby Forest and had sustained an ankle injury.
After establishing her location we deployed team members who assessed her injuries, splinted her leg and transported her in one of our vehicles to her husband’s car on the edge of the forest who then drove her to A&E for definitive medical care.
We had ten team members deployed for two hours.
