Rescue – Hole of Horcum – 2 March, 10:35 – 06/2024
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a lady with a lower leg injury in the Hole of Horcum, one of our hotspots, some 1.4 miles from the nearest road.
An ambulance crew were with the casualty but requested our assistance to evacuate to the roadside. The lady was placed in a team casualty bag with a heat blanket before been carried to the Saltergate hairpin and transportation to definitive medical care.
We wish the lady a speedy recovery.
Sixteen team members and three team vehicles deployed for just over two hours.
