Rescue – Dalby Forest – 8th March, 12:57 – 06/2023
North Yorkshire Police contacted the team to reports of a mountain biker suffering from a heart attack on one of the trails in Dalby Forest. Despite the best efforts of all on scene the gentleman was pronounced deceased on scene by the ambulance crew. The team were then asked to carry the gentleman to the waiting ambulance on one of our stretchers which we did with a much dignity as possible. Fourteen team members deployed for two hours.
