Rescue – Dalby Forest – 26th November, 12:42 – 75/2022
While responding to incident 74/2022 we were called again by the Ambulance Service to a second incident, this time in Dalby Forest. This resulted in two team vehicles deploying to the south or our patch while a third vehicle deployed to Dalby Forest.
While riding the blue mountain bike route route a cyclist had started to suffer from chest pains and his group had called the ambulance service for assistance. The patient was assessed on scene by the team and then carried to a forest drive on a stretcher for handover to a road ambulance and transportation to definitive medical care.
We would like to thank the riding group and members of the public for helping with the carry out and to the Forest England rangers who helped throughout the incident.
We had fourteen team members deployed across both incidents for two and a half hours.
Hi I would just like to say a huge thank you to the team who helped my husband. He is recovering from a major heart attack but with out your help and the help of his best friend Big Bear Bikes staff, the Forest Rangers, the Ambulance Crew and James Cook Hospital it could have been a different story
