Search – Sleights – 29th September, 07:49 – 65/2022
In a continuation of last nights incident (64/2022) North Yorkshire Police contacted us this morning with an ask to revisit the area we searched overnight in daylight to improve coverage and also to conduct a river search from the weir in Sleights downstream to the weir in Ruswarp.
As it was a working day and thus low numbers of volunteers able to attend we asked Cleveland MRT if they were able to assist us. As usual they were more than happy to attend and we jointly complete the tasking.
Sadly the search failed to find the missing gentleman, the police appeal for information continues and, at the time of writing, this can be viewed on the North Yorkshire Police web site.
We had nine team members deployed for seven and three quarter hours.
