Search – Osgodby – 29th August, 06:25 – 57/2022
The team received a request from North Yorkshire Police to send a PhoneFind message to a 999 caller who could not give their location. The sporting person was with a male who was having a medical emergency and was believed to be in the area of Knipe Point in Osgodby. The team were asked to stand by for a possible search in this area. The phone find request was not successful and the team were asked to deploy for a search. Whilst the team were preparing to attend the caller was located by police officers and we were stood down. Seven team members involved for one hour.
