Rescue – Dalby Forest – 21st August, 10:00 – 51/2022
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reports of a teenager who had fallen from a mountain bike on the Red Route in Dalby Forest sustaining upper body injuries.
Upon arrival of the team a crew from the ambulance service and an aircraft from Yorkshire Air Ambulance were already on scene and treating the patient but needed our team members and rescue stretcher to carry him to the waiting ambulance and onward transport to hospital.
We had ten team members deployed for two and a half hours.
