Standby – Fire and Rescue – 19th July, 18:59 – 43/2022
Following North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service declaring a Major Incident over wild fires the team across the region we were asked to go to an enhanced level of standby for 24 hours to provide logistic support to the firefighters on scene. In the event we were not needed but had twenty five team members declare their availability to man our fleet of vehicles over the period.
