Rescue – Wintergill – 24th June. 11:34 – (30/2022)
Called by Cleveland MRT following a request from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) to go to the assistance of a man who had fallen and sustained potential back and shoulder injuries whilst walking on Egton High Moor between Rosedale and Egton Bridge.
As the incident was on the border between both teams a combined limited response was sent. As first on scene our team members treated the gentleman and then the two teams evacuated him to a waiting ambulance using kit from a Cleveland team vehicle. We had six team members deployed for two and a half hours.
