Search – Staveley – 14th June, 08:49 – (27/2022)
Four team members deployed in support of Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, extract of their report below:
On tuesday 14th June, the team were called to assist North Yorkshire Police locate a missing male. Search dogs from MRSDE (Swaledale) and members of RAF Leeming and Scarborough and Ryedale MRTs assisted. The search was ended after 12 hours, After the discovery of a male’s body the police didn’t ask us to continue. Our kindest thoughts are extended to the man and his family.
