The team are honoured and proud to be able to report that thirty of our Operational Team Members are in receipt of this award and will be presented with then in a special, formal event next week.A further three team members also qualify through their time with the team and will be receiving their medals from their employer, Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, in recognition of their dedication to that Service. To qualify for the award you must be a serving frontline member having completed five full years of service. One of our team members has completed thirty two years with the team and in total the thirty three have given 415 years of service to the team! In #volunteerweek2022 this is fitting recognition of the professional operational service our voluntary charity provides however without the dedication of our support membership, our less experienced operational team members and our trainees we could not do what we do.Today we also recognise the understanding and support of our families, friends and employers and the financial support to the charity from our local community and businesses. This award is for all of you.’Saving lives in wild and remote places…..’
