Another busy weekend for the team.
Eight members of the team completed two full days of Outdoor First Aid training, equipping them for dealing with casualties who may have a whole range of illnesses and injuries. Experienced Operational members regularly attend training courses to refresh their skills and they were joined this weekend by three of our Support trainee members. A big thanks to team member Sarah who ran the course and who has enabled those attending to be ready to deal with a number of different situations when they are needed.

Meanwhile Team members Steve and Tony headed north to Glenmore Lodge to attend an Avalanche Awareness Course combining classroom theory and practical time in the snow on the mountains.

All this while the team were at a higher level of preparedness than normal over the weekend due to the various storms passing over the country.
