Rescue – Thomason Foss, Goathland – 17th August 15:53 (77/2021)
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a lady with a lower leg injury on the path from Beck Hole into Thomason Foss. YAS were on scene and treated the injury before the team carried the patient from the find site. The path back to Beck Hole was very wet and considered unsuitable for a stretcher carry our so the team opted to wade through Eller Beck with the her on a stretcher and then carry up the far bank to the road. As is becoming the norm with this location we are grateful of the assistance from the volunteer firefighter crew from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Goathland. Sixteen team members deployed fr three and a half hours.
