Rescue – Ruswarp – 19th June 15:05 (51/2021)
While deploying to incident 50/2021 we were called again by Yorkshire Ambulance service to reports of a gentleman with a hip injury on a footpath in the area of Ruswarp. We immediately rerouted a small number of team members and two team vehicles to Ruswarp and at the same time suggested that HMCG be contacted to also deploy personnel to the scene. Subsequently, and after immediate care by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the patient was carried to the ambulance by ourselves and crews from Whitby Coastguard and Staithes Coastguard. Five team members deployed for two and a half hours.
