Rescue – Cottam Warren – 10th June 19:03 (46/2021)
Called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist in the evacuation of an injured cyclist on a bridleway on the Yorkshire Wolds. Their location was reported as being 400 metres from a drivable road and because of the mechanism of injury we were asked to package the patient in one of our vacuum mattresses and carry the patient back to the road and a waiting ambulance on one of our Bell stretchers. Fifteen team members and two team vehicles deployed for two and three quarter hours.
