Rescue – Spaunton Quarry – 4th April 12:15 – 19/2021
Called to an organised motor cycle event in Spaunton Quarry. Report of a child who had sustained injuries after falling from a motorbike. The air ambulance was on scene above the quarry and the young man was receiving treatment from the crew however our equipment and skills in the form of a bell stretcher and troops were requested to help carry the patient from the incident to a waiting ambulance. Seventeen team members and two team vehicles were deployed for two and a quarter hours.
