Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) is a volunteer organisation dedicated to providing life-saving assistance to those in need across the North York Moors, the Yorkshire Wolds, and the surrounding areas. Available 24/7, 365 days a year, the team responds to emergencies ranging from lost walkers and injured mountain bikers to flood rescues and support for the emergency services. With specialist skills in navigation, casualty care, and technical rope rescue, the team is always ready to help when people get into difficulty in challenging terrain and severe weather.
Entirely funded by donations and supported by the local community, the team is made up of highly trained volunteers who give their time freely to keep others safe. Whether it’s a callout in the middle of the night, evening training sessions, or fundraising activities, Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team works tirelessly to serve both residents and visitors. Their mission is simple: to save lives, provide reassurance, and be there whenever help is needed most.

MOUNTAIN BLEND
The Mountain Blend by Forge Valley Roasters was created to celebrate 60 years of the Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team, with 10% of every sale supporting our volunteers. Each cup directly helps us continue saving lives across the North York Moors, Dalby Forest, the Wolds and beyond.
This unique blend combines two natural-process, single-origin coffees for a rich, balanced flavour. Expect notes of plum, raisin and nectarine, rounded with toffee, fig and smooth dark chocolate. A delicious brew with a purpose.

Call-Out is a 4.3% session pale ale crafted by Brass Castle Brewery to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team. For every can sold, 20p is donated to support the team’s life-saving work across the North York Moors and beyond.
